BRYAN BONE

Welcome to my gallery

My work is a mixed media, photography, watercolour and collage celebration of nightlife, gay life, drag culture, travel journals and pop culture.  As a high school art teacher, I hope this inspires fellow educators and students alike!

UPDATES:

SKETCHBOOK ARTIST

I use sketchbooks to document my life, for fear that I may forget key moments and memories. I use them to decipher the white noise of media and pop culture. I use them as travel journals for my globetrotting adventures.  I use them to inspire my students, and as a way to connect with them on a deeper lever. I use them to figure out who I am, what I’m doing and where I’m going. I turn to my sketchbooks to give myself a voice when it seems like no one is listening.

My sketchbooks are a tool to interact with the world around me and to understand the world inside me.

As a drag queen, I have been been entertaining audiences with my campy glitzy colourful performances for years.  I combine bold sequin and rhinestone glamour with vibrant splashes of colour.
